ANOTHER DEMAND OF ISLAMPUR DISTRICT POPS OUT

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 01st October, 2016: Yesterday in an innovative way there was a demonstration in demand of making Islampur a full-fledged district along with this the Karandighi is also demanded as a subdivision of Islampur. The demonstration was done by a little-known organization called Transferred Area Surjapur Organization (TASO). Yesterday the activists of TASO staged their demonstration at Islampur Bus Terminus. Most of them wore Gandhi Cap with the demand painted in it. The central committee member Mr. Pasarul Alam said “We are peacefully demonstrating in demand of Islampur District. We have worn many people the special Gandhi cap. We don’t have any plans of any extremist way of demonstration. In the future, we will put forward our demand with various logical ways”.
