CHILD DIES OF ELECTROCUTION AT KALIAGANJ AFTER RAINS

Webdesk, TNI Kaliaganj, 25th September, 2016: In a tragic incident at Kaliaganj today a 6-year-old child died after getting electrocuted from a live electric cable which accidentally got disconnected from the poles. The incident happened at Bhandar village of Kaliaganj area. A situation of the area became grim following the incident. It is reported that the child Deep when ventured out after the rains suddenly the live cable got disconnected and fell on the poor child. Instantly he lost his senses. He was then rushed to the state general hospital where he was declared brought dead by the doctors. The villagers complained that despite complaining repeatedly to the WBSEDCL about the loose connections yet the office did not pay hid to their appeals. They even threatened to go on the agitation if no steps are taken.
