RALLY AT RAIGANJ IN PROTEST OF ANIMAL ATTROCITIES

Webdesk, TNI Raiganj, 18th September, 2016: Peoples for animals (PFA), an NGO protecting animal rights today agitated against Human atrocities over animals. In connection with this, a rally was organized by the NGO from Ghari More of Raiganj. The rally ended in front of Raiganj institute hall. The secretary of PFA Mr. Goutam Tantia said that a section of human society is increasing their atrocities over the innocent animals be it domestic or wild. This is the reason they have started agitation. In the Indian Penal Code, a human being gets rid of just Rs. 50 as a fine against the killing of any animals in the country. This law has to be changed and the stricter law should be made. At the end of the rally signatures were collected in support of the cause. Later this will be sent to the Chief Minister of the state. In this rally today Academician Mr. Sushil Goswami, Social activist Mr. Kaushik Bhattacharya of Raiganj also participated.
