ISLAMPUR STANDS BESIDE THE ASSAULTED TEACHER AGAINST MISCREANTS

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 15th September, 2016: Today teachers from Islampur’s Dakkhin Chakra stood beside Mr. Amal Das of Islampur, who was assaulted by miscreants for trying to save a Durga Puja pandal structure from dismantling by them. The teachers submitted a deputation to the SDO for intervening in the matter and take steps against the culprits. They also demanded the security of the teachers. The SDO also had assured of full support in this regard. On the other hand the teachers have threatened to go in for big agitation if the culprits are not taken into custody by the police. Sources said that Islampur Nagorik Manch will visit the teacher’s house shortly. Mr. Mehdi Hedayatulla said that the Islampur Nagorik Suraksha Manch will always stay beside the teacher.
