DAILY TRAFFIC JAM IN HAKIMPARA ROAD OF SILIGURI MAKES LIFE HELL

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 10^th September, 2016: Huge Traffic Jam in main roads, market, Darjeeling More, Siliguri Junction etc. are common features of Siliguri. The situation is becoming much more difficult gradually. However, if the same thing happens in the local roads then we can conclude that traffic situation has gone out of control in Siliguri. Hakimpara’s Haren Mukherjee Road is one such road which faces huge traffic jam throughout the day and even in the evening hours. Though, heavy vehicles do have less movement here but the traffic jam is a daily routine here. One of the shopkeeper said “The people are the sufferers but we shopkeepers here are the most affected due to the jams. People hardly visit at our shops due to traffic jams here. We are from the convenient shopping, but if the customers are feeling inconvenient due to jam to reach our stores, so they won’t visit our stores.”
