GUTKA CHEWING LEAD TO FREAK ACCIDENT AT SEVOK TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 01st September, 2016: In a freak accident at Sevok has brought in a big question in the driving attitude of the hill drivers. A Maruti Zen Car today almost fell into a deep gorge of Sevok if the people from the passing vehicles didn’t let their helping hand stop the car from sliding into the gorge. Earlier, the vehicle was traveling towards Siliguri bearing the registration no. WB74M 2210 was heading towards Siliguri. The driver while driving was alleged taking gutka. He tried to spit into the road while driving at full speed. Immediately he lost control of the car. The car rammed the roadside railings and galloped them before sliding. By then the driver jumped off it. The passing vehicles stopped and the people came and stopped the car from sliding. Though a freak accident yet it raised the question of usage of Pan, Gutka, Khaini etc. by the drivers especially during driving.
