PANIPAT MINOR GIRL RESCUED AT CHAKULIA, OF UTTAR DINAJPUR

Webdesk, TNI Chakulia, 30th August, 2016: A minor girl from Panipat, Uttar Pradesh was rescued from Samspur area of Chakulia Police Station. She was handed over to her father in the presence of Panipat Police. The man alleged to abduct the girl has reportedly fled according to the OC of Chakulia Police Station Mr. Pinaki Sarkar. From the sources of Chakulia Police station, it is known that in a joint raid conducted by Chakulia Police and Panipat police today the 13-year-old girl, a resident of Sitapur District’s Kasba Leharpur village of Uttar Pradesh. The alleged culprit had abducted the girl from the village by giving her a marriage proposal. Her father had lodged a complaint on 23rd of August at Panipat Police station stating the missing of her daughter. Panipat police then contacted Chakulia Police and started a joint investigation against the alleged person. Police did not divulge the name of the culprit for the sake of investigation and search of the culprit.
