BUFFALOS RESCUED BY FALAKATA POLICE TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 28th August, 2016: Today Falakata Police nabbed two trucks loaded with buffalos. In a Sunday routine checkup, buffalo sound was heard by the police in the trucks having Bihar Vehicle registration number plates. Soon the police officials searched the trucks and the animals were rescued. 6 people were arrested in the raid. A total of 24 Buffalos were rescued, among which 12 adult and 12 calves. The rescued animals were kept in safe custody at Falakata’s Raichenga Cattle Pen. The IC of Falakata Police Station Mr. Binod Gazmere told TNI that the buffalos were taken to Bongaigaon from Bihar. All the papers are thoroughly being examined.
