SILIGURI BHARAT NAGAR OLD LADY MURDERED FOR UNCLEAR REASONS

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 22^nd August, 2016: North Bharatnagar today witnessed a Kolkata styled Veteran murder. The deceased is an old widow named Kamal Rani Sarkar (65). She used to stay with her son and his wife. According to the family members Rs. 40000 cash and jewelry were found missing and the lady was strangled to death in the house. The incident came to light when her son Mr. Manoranjan Sarkar (a shopkeeper by profession) came to his house in the lunch time and found his house ransacked and his mother lay dead. Police were informed and the body was taken for post-mortem. Localites, however, have a different version on the issue. According to them probably the old woman got murdered because of a family feud related to her huge ancestral property. The neighbors said that the problem was persisting for quite some time. According to the police, everything will come to light once the investigation is over.
