SUN PHARMA MANAGERS STOPPED TO MEET DOCTORS IN SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 9th August, 2016: Nationwide agitation of Sun Pharma Employees against their management has reached Siliguri too. Members of Sales personnel the Trade Union based in Siliguri have launched a unique way of agitation by putting up special boards in the doctor’s chambers in an around Siliguri of boycotting the management personnel to interact with the doctors. Earlier last month in Nagpur there was a huge agitation by the Sun Pharma employees in a private hotel where the management was supposed to meet for a Sales Meeting. The problem started with the acquisition of Ranbaxy Labs by Sun Pharma in the year 2014.
According to the President of Maharashtra Sales and Medical Representatives Association Vishal Joshi, “the management of the company has illegally transferred 54 employees to another zone without prior intimation. The management has withheld the Salary and Expenses of 55 employees (all over India) for the last 9 months”. It is also known that Mumbai High court has directed Sun Pharmaceuticals management to cancel the transfer orders immediately and solve the matter within 6 months. However, the management of Sun Pharma did not take any action till date. The management of Sun Pharma could not be reached for comments.
