PRIMARY STUDENT BLOCKED ROAD FOR ROAD IN BALURGHAT

Webdesk, TNI Balurghat, 3rd August, 2016: Today the primary students of Danga Gram Panchayat staged a road block in demand of full-fledged road of 6 kms from Poranpur to Bodolpur. A total of 150 students staged the road blockade by planting rice plants in the muddy road. Earlier before the elections also the villagers also staged an agitation by calling for Bidhan Sabha vote boycott. During that time the district administration have assured of starting the work soon after the election. Now, since the elections are over, the new Government had taken the office everything is going on normal but the villagers are angry about the delay of the promise being executed. On the other hand, the Danga Gram Panchayat has assured again that the work of road will soon start.
