BALURGHAT GATE COMING SOON VERY FAST FOR THE TOWN

West Bengal has few cities and towns having gates. In recent times there are initiatives taken to build welcome gates of the town across the state. Balurghat, the major town of Dakshin Dinajpur is no exception. The town is gradually being redesigned in a modern way. In this venture, a project of building an exclusive gate in the entry of the town is being taken. A place near the Raghunathpur B. M. High School has already being identified and the work is going on in full swing. This is the main entry of Balurghat town. Sources said that the pace of the work is in full flow. Even the night shifts are also carried out. Further, the source also said that a sign ‘Welcome to Balurghat’ is also going to be put on top of the gate. It is expected that before this year’s Durga Puja the Balurghat Ghat may become a reality for the Balurghatians.
