NO HELMET, GET FINED, WHAT IF THE POLICE DOES IT?

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 30^th July, 2016: An unidentified Siliguri Police’s civic volunteer were seen flouting traffic rules by riding her two wheeler in the mid of a bustling street of Siliguri. It was not the first incident that the policemen and women were found flouting rules. Social Networking sites have similar pictures posted by casual readers who snap them while on the road. This time, the crime has got bigger because of the CM’s announcement of not providing petrol without a helmet to the police. The Siliguri Metropolitan Police have also issued the order to implement ‘NO HELMET NO PETROL’ policy in the city and areas under its jurisdiction. In such a situation such an act or the regular flouting of rules may not be taken lightly by the administration. Time will tell the answer when the administrators do self-introspect themselves for implementing rules among the citizen. Till then let’s keep our fingers crossed.
