Webdesk, TNI Banarhat 25th July, 2016:The life in Binnaguri and Banarhat is coming to normal slowly after the rains stopped in the hills for the last 24 hours. However, hundreds of families are still water trapped in Nagrakata. At least 3000 families are in a fear because the embankment at Kherkata of Nagrakata has been washed away. On the other hand water from many submerged areas of Banarhat has started receding. Hundreds of families have taken shelter in Banarhat High School building. The food arrangement has been made by the block administration. Arrangements are being made in war-footing to repair the washed away road of Banarhat bazar along with the damaged embankment of Hatinala. A makeshift bridge has been erected over Balukhola River today. Yesterday the main bridge was washed away by the gushing water of the river. Affected people have taken shelter in Luksan High School.
