JALDHAKA WATER ENTERS DHUPGURI: 700 HOUSES AFFECTED

Webdesk, TNI Dhupguri 24^th July, 2016: Patkidaha under Dhupguri block came under water when the overflowing water of Jaldhaka entered the village. At least 700 houses were affected in this rain flood today. Till 1 pm there was no sign of relief or any Government officials in the flood affected village. So the villagers became restless and started agitating in front of the press. According to a local resident Md. Tahiluddin “Many people have taken refuge in a local school building because their houses have been washed away by Jaldhaka waters”. Block administration have sailed lifeboats to save the affected people.
