JALPAIGURI QUACK ACCUSED OF INJECTING WRONG DRUG

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 7th January, 2016: A quack doctor was today accused of injecting the wrong drug into a patient leading to the death of the patient. The incident happened in Jalpaiguri’s Shobharhaat area. The name of the patient is Aliar Rehman (55) of the same area. Today the family of the patient lodged a complaint at Jalpaiguri’s Kotwali Police Station against the quack under who the patient was undergoing treatment. The Super of Jalpaiguri District Hospital ordered the viscera examination of the dead. However, the quack doctor named Ranjit Halder said if the accusation is proved correct he is ready to face trial. He is said to inject Voveron injection after the patient came with chest pain. Soon after the injection was applied the condition of the patient deteriorated and he died en route to the Jalpaiguri District Hospital.
