CM’S 4 DAY NORTH BENGAL TOUR BEGINS TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 27th June, 2016: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has started her first visit to north Bengal after coming to power for a second term. Mamata Banerjee has visited north Bengal many times, between 2011 and May 2016, much more than any other Chief Minister, concentrating on the development of the area. Her three-day itinerary begins with a visit to Alipurduar, where she is going to participate in the second-anniversary celebrations of the formation of the district. Later in the evening, she is expected to hold an administrative meeting with district officials. She arrived at Bagdogra Airport at around 2:30pm. She is being greeted by Tourism Minister Mr. Gautam Deb, TMC Leader Mr. Pratul Chakraborty, Mr. Bhaichung Bhutia, Mr. Sanjog Tamang. She talked with Mr. Tamang briefly and then left for Alipurduar. At the end of this tour i.e. on 29th June, she is going to hold an administrative meeting at Uttarkanya, Siliguri with the administrative officials from Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling and Coochbehar.
