ANTI DRUG DAY OBSERVED AT UTTAR DINAJPUR DISTRICT

Webdesk, TNI Raiganj 26th June, 2016: Today on Sunday there were various programs organised related to Anti-Drugs Day at Uttar Dinajpur District. Today Raiganj Police station organised an anti-drug rally in association with West Dinajpur Chamber of Commerce and Merchants association. The rally started from Raigunj Police station and after traversing the entire Raigunj town ended in front of the police station again. Along with the other police personnel, the participants in the rally was DSP Mr. Subhendu Manda, IC of Raiganj Police Station Mr. Gautam Chakraborty and various other educational institution and members of the merchants association. DSP Mr. Subhendu Mandal said the police administration is organising various programs in this anti-drug day. The main objective is to make people aware of the ill effects of drugs in the society. Anti-Drug Day was also observed at Sitalkuchi today by the BSF. The BSF here today organised a cycle rally for observing the Anti-Drug Day. BSF personnel and jawans were seen participating in the cycle rally here.
