ALIPURDUAR MLA SOURAV CHAKRABORTY BECOMES SJDA CHAIRMAN

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri 24th June, 2016: The MLA of Alipurduar Dr. Sourav Chakraborty became the chairman of SJDA today. He succeeded the position of the current Tourism Minister Mr. Gautam Deb. Dr. Sourav Chakraborty is also the chairman of NBSTC too. The information came to Dr. Chakraborty telephonically while he was busy in an official meeting of Jalpaiguri Central Cooperative Bank. He then himself declared that he is going to take the charge of the post of chairman of SJDA. Sources say that Dr. Chakraborty will take the charge tomorrow at Siliguri. The news spread like bullets at Alipurduar and then there were wishing messages all-round. While talking to the press Dr. Chakraborty told that he will try to make the functioning of SJDA more transparent and alongside will make try to make the most developmental effort.
