TNI News Service (TNS)
Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 23rd June, 2016: After a long wait Bagdogra Customs Airport is going to install the ILS (Instrumental Landing System). If everything goes as planned then the work of ILS will start in July this year. Hence, the air services will be cut down to some extent to give way to the working space and time for the installation of ILS. After installation of ILS then the air services will not only be possible at night but also during the foggy weather. The Director of Bagdogra Airport Mr. Rakesh Sahay told the press that a plan of 2 months is taken by which the ILS installation will be ready. Due to this work, the air services will be suspended from evening 6 pm to next day 12 pm. All the air services companies are requested to follow the time schedule accordingly.
