RAIN PLAYED A SPOILSPORT IN TODAY’S ISLAMPUR FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Webdesk, TNI Islampur 22nd June, 2016: Today at the Islampur football league Kusum Tea Estate played with Majlispur Purulia Club. As usual, the match was played on Islampur High School ground. However, the match ended in a draw. Like yesterday rain played the spoilsport and did not relent at any moment between the match. One of the laudable things emerged in the match was that not a single team expressed their unwillingness to play despite a heavy downpour during the match. There were many chances to score yet the goalkeepers of both the sides put up an excellent show despite harsh conditions. In an all out attacking game in the rains also the teams had to equally divide the point. Tomorrow`s game will be played between Adivasi Sidhu Kanu Sporting Club and Moulani Udayan Sangha in the same venue.
