NBDD MINISTER RABINDRANATH GHOSH HAD DAYLONG PROGRAMS IN JALPAIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri 15th June, 2016: Today in Jalpaiguri the MIC NBDD, Mr. Rabindranath Ghosh stopped the highhandedness of some big guns of the area adjacent to Gadadhar Khal. Gadadhar Khal is one of the primary spots of the drainage system of Jalpaiguri town. For many days, the reconstruction works of the Gadadhar Khal was stopped due to the high-handedness of some local people. The minister today warned those people of not stopping the development process. Mr. Ghosh directed the irrigation engineers to immediately resume the stalled work. Today the minister came to Jalpaiguri to attend various programs. Firstly, he inaugurated a Blood donation camp organized by the forest officials at Hakimpara of Jalpaiguri. He then straight went to the sports village roundup. He then went to Jalpaiguri Din Bazar area where the rehabilitation work of the fire victims is yet to be started. It is to be noted that a devastating fire broke out in this Din Bazar area where many businessmen have lost everything. Mr. Ghosh consulted with the Municipal chairman about the prevailing situation.
