PASSENGERS ESCAPE NOSE WHEEL TYRE BURST AT BAGDOGRA AIRPORT

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 14th June, 2016: At least 180 passengers today escaped a possible crash landing by an aircraft of Spicejet. Today in the afternoon hours when the flight of SpiceJet 623 arrived at Bagdogra airport for landing suddenly during touchdown the nose wheel tyre busted. Immediately the cabin crew contacted the ATC Bagdogra. Though passengers inside the aircraft only realized a sudden thud and nothing else. The airport authorities immediately took control of the situation and brought down the passengers safely. The wheel and the busted tyre was immediately sent for repairing.
