LITERARY SEMINAR ORGANIZED BY RENAISSANCE UNIVERSAL AT UDAYAN MSL OF SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 13^th June, 2016: Renaissance Universal (R.U.) Club of Siliguri organized a discussion on ‘Social Exploitation and Its Remedies: Perspective of Sri. Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar’ at Udayan Memorial Sports Library Hall yesterday. At the outset, Ms. Sunandita Bhowmik, Chairperson of Renaissance Universal (R.U.) Club Siliguri welcomed everybody and spoke about the aims and objectives of R.U. On this occasion, Mr. Soumen Nag noted writer of North Bengal was the ‘Chief Guest’ and delivered the ‘Keynote’ address. He said that Sri. Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar, the Founder of Renaissance Universal was a ‘Renaissance Man’ of 20^th Century India and His idea of ‘Sadbipra’ if implemented in later and spirit in various countries of the world including India, will bring about a total revolution in every sphere of life and will put an end to various exploitation prevalent in present day society be it economic, social or religious exploitation. Dr. Biswajit Bhowmik, Regional Director of IGNOU (Siliguri Regional Centre) graced the occasion as a special guest. A needy student was felicitated on this occasion and was given a scholarship of Rs. 2000. The next meeting of R.U. will be held on Sunday, 17th July, 2016 at the same venue and the topic of discussion will be ‘Liberation of Intellect: Neo-Humanism’.
