WOMAN DIES IN ROAD ACCIDENT AT PATHARGHATA OF SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 7^th June, 2016: In a road accident at Patharghata a woman was spot dead. The victim was known as Draupadi Sinha (50), a resident of Ranidanga area of Siliguri. The accident had taken place in the area near Bhubanjote High School of Patharghata. Local sources said that the victim was travelling by motorcycle (having the Regd No: WB921348) as a pillion rider. She fell on the road when the biker tried to take a sharp turn to give space to an approaching truck. The rear wheel crushed the poor lady. She died on the spot. A chaos started soon after the incident. The locals demanded speed breakers in the area to control the speeding vehicles on the road. Later the body was taken for post-mortem by the police.
