DAYLIGHT SNATCHING HAPPENED AT BANARHAT BAZAR TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Banarhat 4th June, 2016: A gang of snatchers today snatched Rs. 30000 from a youth before beating him up at Banarhat Bazar. The man Md. Noor Alam of Dhupguri was surrounded him by two men and a woman. They tried to snatch a bag from Noor Alam which contained the money. When Noor tried to stop them, One of them attacked him with a broken glass bottle. They snatched the bag and fled the spot. The local said that that Banarhat is turning out to become an antisocial’s den. Common people are not safe here. Noor Alam was transferred to Jalpaiguri Sadar Hospital. Hospital sources said that he has suffered major injuries in his chest. DSP Crime Mr. Bidyut Tarafdar told TNI two people were nabbed in connection with the incident. A combing operation is being carried out for arresting the culprits.
