A MYSTERIOUS MURDER AT FALAKATA

Webdesk, TNI Falakata 4^th June, 2016: An old lady today was found dead with her neck slit. The deceased is Nita Nath (65). She used to live alone in her house. Her husband died 2 years ago and her two daughters were married at Jalpaiguri. The incident came to light when the housemaid came to work. She saw the house is locked. She smelled something unusual so she called the tenant as well as the neighbors. The house was ransacked from inside and the dead body was discovered in the kitchen. A vegetable chopper was also found near the body. Sniffer dog was also brought by the 34 SSB of Falakata for the crime spot investigation. The dead body was sent for post-mortem. The interesting thing is that the daughters informed the police that nothing was found missing from the house.
