GREEN CITY JALPAIGURI SOCIAL MEDIA GROUP FELICITATES JAIL INMATES

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 15^th May, 2016: Today the members of the Facebook called ‘Green City Jalpaiguri’ in its 1^st Aniversary organized a Felicitation Programm for the inmates of Jalpaiguri Central Correctional Home, who have successfully cleared this year’s Madhyamik Pariksha. The members of the Facebook group took special permission from the Police authorities for the program. The members who went to felicitate to the Correctional Home was welfare officer Smt. Bratati Biswas along with her the other accompanied were Mr. Samir Poddar, Mr. Somnath Hazra, Mr. Bankim Chandra Das, Mr. Tapan Mandal, Mr. Partha Sarathi Roy and Ms. Rima Das. The main motive of the program was to motivate the inmates to study while they stay in the homes and develop themselves into a changed human being.
