‘WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY’ SLOGAN COMPETITION AT SAVIN KINGDOM OF SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 14th May, 2016: In continuation of the No Tobacco Day campaign (i.e. May 31st) Sumita Cancer Society (SCS) of Siliguri is going to organise a Poster and Slogan Competition at the Savin Kingdom tomorrow i.e. on 15th May 2016. The theme of the program is “We are Against Tobacco”. The competition is being divided into 3 categories i.e. Group A, where students from Class I to IV can participate; Group B, where students from Class V to Class VII can participate and Group C, where Class VIII to XII can participate. Mr. M. K. Bhattacharya of Sumita Cancer Society told TNI that the main reason behind celebrating the competition on 15th May is to spread awareness amongst the people throughout the month instead of celebrating on a single day i.e. 31st May. He also said that SCS is on a mission to spread the awareness of people against cancer and prevention of the deadly disease.
