NEW PIPE-LINE AND “COILING” SYSTEM AT NBNC HOSPITAL OF SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 14th May, 2016: North Bengal Neuro Hospital is now catering to the needs of the latest and advanced treatment for the people of North Bengal and adjoining areas. Recently it has been equipped with yet another innovative technology-based expertise in the field of brain aneurysm. Patients, suffering from Brain Aneurysm can now be treated at North Bengal Neuro Hospital at Siliguri’s Pradhan Nagar. The conventional treatment of these aneurysms is by brain operation and surgical clipping to prevent re-rupture. The new modality of treatment is coiling of these aneurysms without opening the brain. Another treatment modality is “Pipe-Line” which is a bridge like structure bypassing the aneurism. The North Bengal Neuro Hospital is offering all the services with its state-of-the-art Operation Theatre (OT) and Cath-Lab. The latest treatment using “Pipe Line” is done at this Hospital by Dr. S. K. Sahu.
