Webdesk, TNI Malbazar 13th May, 2016: Two leopard cubs were rescued from Rangamati Tea Garden of Malbazar Block. However, the mother leopard was not found. Yesterday a leopard attack incident was registered at the same tea garden, which is thought that the leopard might have attacked because of her anger of not finding her cubs. The victim is now admitted at NBMC&H. The Malbazar Wildlife Squad have cordoned the area from where the cubs were found for the security of the cubs. A trap was also laid for catching the leopard. According to the forest officials, if the cubs get in contact with the humans then they would not be taken back by the mother leopards. The ranger of Malbazar Wildlife squad talked with TNI and informed that enough measures are taken so that the mother leopard gets back her cubs without any human contact.
