BUS SERVICES BETWEEN SILIGURI-DOOARS HALTED

Webdesk, TNI Oodlabari 13th May, 2016: Today bus services were totally stopped between Dooars and Siliguri following an incident of bus smashing by some passengers of a bus. Sources said that some youths came from Kerala and got down at NJP Railway station and boarded a bus towards Oodlabari. An altercation started between the youths and the conductor. After they got down from the bus, at Oodlabari. They smashed the bus and ran away. Soon after the incident the bus workers stopped the bus services towards Dooars from Siliguri in the demand to arrest the accused. The victims became the daily commuters and other passengers. Local sources from Oodlabari informed that the youths probably belong from Roypara of Oodlabari.
