BOISHAKHI MELA ’16 GOING ON IN FULL GLOW AT SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 8th May, 2016: One of the biggest fairs of Siliguri is running is its full glow i.e. Boisakhi Mela, 2016. It is the only fair to be held for a long period of time in North Bengal. For the last 4 years, the fair is held at Air View more, Siliguri. It will be there for 45 days. Foods, games, joy rides, clothes and other such stalls have been placed to attract the visitors out there.
Families are coming to enjoy their evening at the fair. For protection Siliguri Metropolitan police have guarded their duties out there. Even security guards are employed for extra protection at the fair. Though it seems the stall owners are having a pleasant time selling their goods and earning a good profit till now, however, it’s still premature to conclude. However, they are hopeful to earn profits till the last day of the fair. People from all parts of North Bengal are coming to enjoy the beauty of Boisakhi Mela.
