TOTO THEFT CONTINUES IN SILIGURI UNABATED

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 5th April, 2016: In a spate of Toto theft yesterday in such an incident a toto driver was drugged and his toto was taken away by the toto thieves. Yesterday the incident happened at Siliguri’s Ambikanagar area. The name of the toto driver is Subal Chandra Sarkar and is also a resident of the same area. He said that three youths hired his toto from Tinbatti more with the evening with the pretext to roam about in Siliguri. The youths also agreed upon a fare of Rs.400 for two hours. The youths then boozed for some time and offered the Subal with a cold drink. Afte then Subal felt senseless. When he regained his senses he found himself in a bush at the Dumping ground area. Subal also said that the youths have taken away his golden earring, purse, mobile phone etc. An FIR has been lodged at the police station. Police sources said that investigations have started.
