ATHAROKHAI BEATS SWASTIKA IN A RUNS GALORE MATCH IN SILIGURI CRICKET

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 27^th March, 2016: Today in the Super division cricket league of SMKP, Atharokhai SS (ASS) played with Swastika Sporting Club (SSC) which was held at Chandmoni Open Cricket stadium. Atharokhai SS won the toss and elected to bat first. In the first innings, Atharokhai SS scored a whopping 229 runs in 45 overs losing 4 wickets. The highest individual score was 100 runs not-out scored by Pratik Dutta. Another important part was 56 runs extra was given away by Swastica SC among which 16 were wide balls. In reply Swastika SC in the second half were all out by scoring 109 runs in 43.1 overs. Thus, Atharokhai SS won the match today by 12 runs. Man of the Match today was the century maker Pratik Dutta from Atharokhai SS. It was really thrilling after a long to time in an SMKP League match to watch such a match in the first innings when sixes and fours ruled the game.
