200 PRIMARY STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN GAIRKATA ARTS COMPETITION

Webdesk, TNI Gairkata 25th March, 2016: An Arts competition was held at Gairkata today which was organized by ‘Rong Tuli Fine Arts Educational Centre under Telipara Primary School. A total of 200 students from the neighboring areas of Gairkata participated in the competition. The total competition was sectioned in four categories. In these four categories Aparna Chettri, Rajy Roy, Kaushik Sharma and Isha Anurag came first in the first, second, third and fourth categories of the competition. The chief of the centre Mr. Tapash Banerjee said to TNI that the main aim for organizing the competition was to bring in the concentration of the students from this area into arts and culture.
