VENOMOUS COBRA RESCUED FROM A DRAIN OF BANARHAT TOWN

Webdesk, TNI Banarhat, 22^nd March, 2016: A highly venomous cobra was rescued today from Banarhat Town area. Tension had mounted in the area of the rescue. Local residents said that on Monday night in Banahat’s Adarshapally, the cobra was found in a roadside drain in front of the house of a local resident named Smt. Lila Bagh. On hearing the news two police officers from Banarhat Police Station rushed to the spot of the incident. The Forest department was also informed simultaneously.  In the night itself, two rescuers from the wildlife section of the Forest Department reached the spot and rescued the viper. After spreading the news of spotting cobra in the heart of the town, people rushed to the spot to take a glance of the viper.
