CONSTRUCTION STARTS FOR A NEW COMMUNITY HALL AT BANARHAT

Webdesk, TNI Banarhat, 19^th March, 2016: The work of Banarhat’s Netaji Sangha Community hall has now started from yesterday. The club management informed that the chief minister has contributed Rs. 2 Lakhs for the development of the club for its developement. The club management ultmatedly decided that constructing a community hall forthe club will benefit the people of the region at large. The secretary of the club Mr. Gautam and Treasurer Mr. Arup Das informed TNI that there is only one community hall in Banarhat hence, of the number of social gatherings like marriage; birthday party etc. if takes place more than one in the same date then the problem becomes huge.

The management club feels that constructing of the community hall will thus benefit the people of Banarhat. They also informed that a total budget of Rs. 10 lakhs is the target for construction, and based on which the construction has started. They also expressed as the time progresses help from various people will be sought according to the requirement. In today’s ‘Khunti Puja’ function the people present were Banahat 1 No. Panchayat Pradhan Mr. Dhan Bahadur Chettri, Banarhat Block Trinamul Congress secretary Mr. Raju Gurung and other club officials.
