FIRE BROKE OUT NEAR MAINAGURI’S ICONIC ‘JALPESH MANDIR’ TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Mainaguri, 17th March, 2016: A fire broke out at Jalpesh Bazar of Mainaguri Block today in a Motor garage. Two people were injured in the incident. The fire spread fast in eight other shops nearby due to the strong winds blowing throughout the day. A total of 7 bikes were damaged due to the fire. The injured were admitted to Jalpaiguri Zilla Hospital. Fire brigade rushed to the spot soon after the information till then a huge crowd gathered at the spot. Police have to take an effort to disperse the crowd and allow the fire brigade to douse the flames. The Iconic ‘Jalpesh Mandir’ was just metres away from the fire spot.
