MERCHANDISE OF TRADERS PUT ON FIRE AT BAGDOGRA HAATKHOLA

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 10th March, 2016: For quiet sometime the merchandise of the Haat traders are put on fire by some unknown miscreants. Hence, the poor traders are facing problems. Today also similar incident happened when the local traders discovered that their merchandise was put on fire. This created a tension in Haatkhola area of Bagdogra today. They agitated infront of Bagdogra Police Station and the traders demanded that the OC of Bagdogra Police Station Mr. Sonam Lama Bhutia should immediately take steps to investigate and find the culprits. The Vice President of Haat Traders Association of Bagdogra Mr. Kali Ghosh said that this is not new, similar incidents have happened earlier. Till date at least Rs. 2 lakhs of merchandise were damaged by the unknown culprits.
