HEAVY SECURITY AT BAGDOGRA AIRPORT FOLLOWING COUNTRY SECURITY ALERT

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 8^th March, 2016: Like the various airports of the country, Bagdogra Customs Airport also witnessed a heavy security beef up today in tune with the national security alert issued by the Home Ministry. Like the Dum Dum airport of Kolkata, here too the visitors are disallowed in the airport. Apart from that the passengers were also subjected to huge security check ups. This has been informed by the Airport Director Mr. Rakesh Sahay. He also said that a high level security meeting has already taken place with the District Administration and the CISF.
