BISON CLUB’S 9TH MASS WEDDING CEREMONY ORGANISED AT FALAKATA

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 5^th March, 2016: A mass wedding ceremony was organized by Bison Club (A local club) of 5 mile area under Falakata Block on 3^rd March 2016. The wedding ceremony was inaugurated by the chairman Dr. Sourav Chakraborty. Apart from this other dignitaries were also present on the occasion. A total of 54 couples were married in the mass wedding ceremony. Among them, 30 couples belong from Hindu community and 24 couples were from the Muslim community. This was informed by the club president Mr. Sanjay Das. He also informed that 20 people ease from the side of each couple also were invited to the mass dinner. The newly married couple were provided with gifts in the form of new utensils, beds etc. This is the 9^th year of the Mass wedding.
