CENTURY BY ASUTOSH LEAD BJAC IN TODAY’S WIN AT SMKP CRICKET LEAGUE AT SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 25^th February, 2016: In today’s Siliguri Superdivision Cricket League Baghajatin Athletic Club took on SSU. After winning the toss BJAC elected to bat first. After a long run famine in the league BJAC scored a whopping 294 runs in 44 overs losing 5 wickets. Among the top run getters Ashutosh Majumdar of BJAC got his hundred and remained unbeaten with a score of 101 runs. Opener Rajat Saha also scored 64 runs. Looking for the runs galore by BJAC the captain Rakesh Gour used 8 bowlers against BJAC but none of them could apply brakes in the run stream of BJAC. Expectedly, SSU lost the match by 120 runs losing 7 wickets. However, the silver lining in the second half batting was of second down Mukesh Sah of SSU who scored half century not out. The century scorer got the Man of the match award at the prize distribution.
