INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE DAY CELEBRATED AT FALAKATA

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 22^nd February, 2016: Democratic writers and artist association and Purnima sammelon jointly organized the International Mother Language day at Falakata Subhash Library (Town Library) yesterday. A Special Supplement was also inaugurated in the program called “Bhasha Dibosh Swarone” which included write-ups of various writers of Falakata. The dignitaries present were the Headmaster of Falakata High School Dr. Subhash Sengupta, Sports personality Mr. Manoj Saha, Dr. Prabir Roychoudhury, Poet Narayan Dutta, the joint secretary of Purnima Sammelon Mr. Ram Sewak Gupta and Mr. Narayan Das etc. A cultural program was organized on this occasion. Interestingly, in the program, no electronic amplifiers or sound systems were used considering the ongoing H. S. Examinations.
