By Atish Sen (TNI Banarhat) ~ Edited By R. Subrata (TNI Siliguri)
Webdesk, TNI Banarhat, 29th January, 2016: A cobra was trapped accidentally today in a septic tank of a house at Banarhat. The house belongs to Mr. Bimal Sengupta, a resident of 1 No. Colony of Banarhat area. Mr. Sengupta told TNI that there are some construction works going on in the house. To dump the garbage the unused septic tank was opened by the masons engaged in the work. Immediately they saw the cobra inside the tank. The people gathered to see the reptile. However, nobody wanted to hurt the snake instead they themselves called up the forest department for rescuing it. Forest personnel from Binnaguri forest squad came in the afternoon and took it away along with them.
