SJC HONORS COACH BHARTI AND CLIMBER KUSHAN THROUGH THE CHIEF MINISTER

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 22nd January, 2016: Siliguri Journalist Club conducted Kanchenjungha Award has been conferred to the famous table tennis coach Smt. Bharti Ghosh and Kushan Sherpa. Both awardees received the prize from the Honorable Chief Minister of West Bengal Smt. Mamata Banerjee at the dais of the inauguration of Bengal Safari here in Siliguri. The awards were presented just after the inauguration of the Safari Park. It should be mentioned that though TT Coach Smt. Bharti Ghosh had many laurels but this kind of big award is one of a kind for her. She didn’t fail to thank SJC for the gesture and had said that her responsibility towards table tennis has increased further. On the other hand, Kushan Sherpa had thanked the members of SJC for this honour.
