138TH AGM OF DBITA HELD AT BINNAGURI YESTERDAY

Webdesk, TNI Banarhat 17th January, 2016: Yesterday at the Central Dooars Club 138th AGM of DBITA was held. In the AGM, various issues were discussed like the problem of discrepancy in the implementation of Panchayati System in the Tea Gardens, problems of flourishing the Tea Tourism etc. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of DBITA Sanjay Kumar Ghai, ITA West Bengal region chairman Mr. Tapan Kumar Choudhuri, the General Secretary of ITA Mr. Arijit Raha, the secretary of DBITA Mr. Sumanta Guha Thakurata and others. The main issue which was highly emphasized was the problem of the administrative policies which are not in accordance with the ground realities. Mr. Tapan Kumar Choudhuri raised the issues that if the problems of the Tea Garden growth is not addressed thoroughly policy wise then the Tea would vanish from the concept of PM Modi’s “Chai Pe Charcha”.
