SWAMI VIVEKANANDA BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OBSERVED IN FALAKATA

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 12^th January, 2016: Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary was celebrated by organizing a voluntary blood donation camp in Falakata by Falakta Elizer Education and Social Welfare Society. Today with the help of Alipurduar Blood Bank Falakata Town club also organized a Voluntary blood donation camp where both men and women donated their blood for the blood bank. Apart from this Vivekananda Sewa Sangstha also celebrated the Swami Vivekananda’s Birth Aniversary. The program started with a morning rally followed by distribution of fruits to the hospital patients, blanket distribution to the poor along with this a brief interactive session on the life of the Swamiji. The participants were Swami Akshayanandaji Maharaj and Swami Amitanandaji Maharaj from Atherokhai, Shivmandir; Swami Srubanandaji Maharaj from Coochbehar Ramkrishna Math; Dasabhapati Sri Jagadish Deb Singh from Falakata and others.
