SUSPECTED RAPE & MURDER OF A MAINAGURI GIRL

Webdesk, TNI Mainaguri, 6th January, 2016: A minor girl’s body was today found hanging in Mainaguri town which created a tension in the area. The girl’s father a daily laborer alleged that his daughter was raped and then murdered. He also said that the girl yesterday went for school but never returned. The body was found in a bamboo bush today morning. The body was sent for postmortem at Jalpaiguri Sadar Hospital. A case of unnatural death was registered by the police.
