YOUTH’S HANGING BODY FOUND IN SOUTH BHARAT NAGAR OF SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 29th December, 2015: A youth named Madan Chakraborty’s (31) body was found hanging on a tree near the Joranapani stream of Siliguri’s South Bharat Nagar. An initial investigation found that the deceased was working in a tea garden of Dooars as a tea worker. Today locals saw the body in hanging condition and informed the police. Later police from Siliguri police station recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. Local people complained that the area is full of illegal betting groups and drunkards during night. However, regular complaints fell on the deaf ears of the administration. The family members of the deceased youth complained that it’s a murder rather than a suicide.
